A Fierce Russian’s Perspective is a blog about the world as seen by a Russian immigrant (yours truly).

I have lived in the United States since early 2008, but grew up in Moscow region, Russia. I love and admire the United States, and, of course, I have some sentimental feelings for my motherland, Russia. However, being skeptical in nature, I am often critical of things and phenomena I encounter. My “Russianness” in no way defines me, so I write about everything I’m interested in, including the superficial stuff from all over the world – movies, music, TV shows, books, etc.

I do not represent any organization and am not officially an expert in any of the things I write about. I am just sharing “my two cents” on random cultural phenomena with anybody who might be interested.
